How To Activate Your Pag-IBIG Account Online

Nothing is more liberating than being able to do online transactions which include transferring money, viewing your monthly premiums, and applying for loans - especially in this time of the pandemic.

Pag-IBIG has been conveniently assisting their valued members through their online services which include membership registration, online payments, loan application, and claim processing.

They also provide options to download their forms so you won’t have to go to any branch to initiate your transactions.

If you are already a member, you have the option to view your records online by simply activating your account. You just need your Pag-IBIG MID Number and you’re good to go.

Virtual Pag-IBIG Account Creation (Step-by-Step Guide)

To activate your Pag-IBIG account online, you need to first create an account. Here is a simplified guide on how to create and activate your Virtual Pag-IBIG Account.

Step 1

Go to their website - https://www.pagibigfundservices.com/virtualpagibig/. Simply click the link or copy-paste on your web browser.

Step 2

Click Create Account button on the left-hand side of the page.

Step 3

Click the Continue button to create your Virtual Pag-IBIG Account.

Step 4

You will then be presented with 3 choices. Simply click the Click Here button in any of the three options depending on the type of account you want to create.

If you have a Loyalty Card, then choose option 1. If you are an OFW, choose option 3. If you are a member who simply wants to activate your account online, then choose option 2.

Step 5 

To activate your account, input your Pag-IBIG ID number and other personal details like name, date of birth, and phone number.

Take note of how the date of birth should be entered. Just follow the format and you’re good to go.

In case you wish to create your Pag-IBIG online account through your loyalty card:

You have to enter not only your MID number but also the bank name and the last 4 digits of your card number. A One-Time Pin (OTP) will then be sent to you via text. After entering the 4-digit number, click the Proceed button.

You will then be required to enter your email address together with your preferred security questions for password retrieval later on.

Tick the box to certify all information is correct, then click the Submit button.

You will then receive a confirmation that you have successfully created your Virtual Pag-ibig account and that your temporary password is sent to your email address.

Step 6

Click the Proceed button after entering your details. A 4-digit One-Time-Pin (OTP) will then be sent to your phone number.

Step 7

Enter the OTP within the required timeframe then click the PROCEED button.

Step 8 

Continue to activate your Virtual Pag-IBIG Account by entering the required additional information like your email address and preferred password, photo of a valid ID, and a selfie holding your ID.

Make sure to check what types of IDs are accepted. Just so you know, your Home Development Mutual Fund (HDMF) ID card is not accepted. So better prepare a lot of IDs before activating your online account.

Step 9

After uploading the photos, tick the box to certify that the information shared is correct.

Step 10

Click the Submit button below the page to finalize the Virtual Pag-IBIG Account creation. You will then receive a confirmation that says the account creation is successful.

However, you still need to wait for their notification regarding your account activation. They will send you a separate text message for you to start viewing your Pag-IBIG savings and loan records and use the other services via the Virtual Pag-IBIG portal.

In the meantime, you may go back to the Virtual Pag-IBIG website then apply for a Short-Term Loan (STL) or pay online.

To apply for a short-term loan, you need to prepare either a Loyalty Card powered by UnionBank or AUB, LandBank Cash Card, or UCPB Cash Card.

If you want to pay online, you have an option to use your PayMaya or GCash account.
